For the last few weeks I've been meeting up with an ever growing group of Au Pairs in Milan from all over the world. We usually get together for lunch, coffee, drinks, to explore together or hang out in the park. A lot of the girls are a good bit younger than me but it's nice that we have a few common denominators: we are all foreigners, all listen to American music, and have "kids". Its funny that our initial conversations include questions like "how many kids do you have, how old are they"? And I find it interesting to hear their stories and about their lives in different countries.

Above is Maria (Greece) and Laura (Spain) with me at a JET concert in Park Sempione, in front of a castle. I saw JET open for Oasis in Atlanta (with Amanda and Ben and others) a few years ago and they put on a good show so I was super excited when I heard they were putting on a free concert. It was so nice to hear the crowd singing along with the band in English.

JET doing their thing....the lead spoke to the crowd in Italian. I could pick up on most of it.
