Last Sunday Carmelo helped me with some more Italian words/ pronunciation while we watched motor bike racing (which is HUGE here). Then we went to a little town,
Monza, just north of here for a
loooong bike ride in the park.

This palace was the residence of the Italian King. The "gardens" are now a huge public park. The park includes the famous
Monza Formula One race track. We could hear cars on the track. I have tickets to the F1 race there in September!
I have no idea what this "stick sculpture" is. We couldn't figure it out...but pretty cool looking!
